Stress 

There’s a lot of talk about ‘stress’ and many of us believe we suffer from it on a regular basis.  But what is it and how do we know if we suffer from significant stress?  Stress describes our physical and emotional response to a demand or stressor in our environment (NZ Mental Health Foundation).  It is an individual response; something that stresses one person may not necessarily have the same impact on someone else.  Common stressors in today’s society include; work and home demands, feeling time deprived, relationships and conflict, and generally feeling overloaded.  The StressMap is designed to measure stress across 21 factors and can help identify areas which need attention.  One of the factors identified in the StressMap, Personal Pressures, is attached.  Fill in the attached form to see whether you need further input to learn to respond to stress more effectively...
